Seems good amd priced reasonably compares to other BBQ places

The staff were all very friendly and attentive. The food was really good too.

Good, but not something that I would dream about during the day.

The food was okay. Service as great. BBQ was average. Little light on the smoke flavor. But qreat choose for those wanted a quick meal.

Delicious BBQ. I got the chopped brisket and it was moist and delicious. I saw a guy with ribs and they were enormous (he said they were tasty too). We'll be back.

Driven by for 8 yrs plus decided to stop and have lunch, service friendly fast, however over all my sliced brisket was just ok, nothing for me to get excited about, they did have a lot of customers, I guess just me . Will stop by again in another 8 yrs or so and give them another try, in the mean time you maybe one that like tuff brisket, so stop it to see if I wrong or right.

I love this Rick's Smokehouse; I'd rather go here than the big BBQ chains. We have called in orders and I'd go pick up everything for our office lunch fairly often for the last several years. Everything has always been really good! And their daily specials are indeed special! Their Friday beef ribs are huge and so flavorful and tender. I love their pulled pork sandwich and their smoked turkey breast plate is another favorite. Their baked potatoes you can get loaded then add any meat on it, too. I was thrilled today to find out they have recently joined DoorDash delivery service. It just makes it so much more convenient for us. And they were really quick. Thanks for doing that, Rick's; we'll be ordering even more often now!

My first time coming here I was satisfied. The menu consist of all my favorite BBQ items. The food was delicious!?

Rick's is by one of our sites at work. Usually we have delivery from them when I'm there, and it has always been good. But I finally got to go to the place itself and order from the menu. Outstanding bbq! Dinner special, even at lunch, ours two meats and a couple sides. Tried the pulled pork and hot sausage, new to new. This is what TX eatin' is all about. And extremely reasonable pricing. Took a crew of about 10 and was only about a hunny. Is it fancy digs? No. But that would jyst feel totally wrong. Rick's hit every beat (and has been great on delivery the few times too).

The best BBQ joints have been in the same place forever. I think Rick's gas been here since the last Ice Age. Great smoke smell when you walk in. Brisket was tasty and tender. Sausage was nice and spicy.

Good for a quick lunch break, its hit or miss but it will do if you want some mea. Get ready to hear CNN, because im prety sure that's the only thing the tv in this place plays.

Went there for lunch on Friday. My co-worker and I both got super loaded baked potatoes, and they were excellent. Will definitely be going back soon.

I tried the brisket sandwich plate, it was pretty good. The baked beans were good and the green beans were okay. The Mac n cheese is awful and taste like kraft out the box sprinkled with pepper.

Looks like a hole in the wall, but this place is a favorite of mine. Real home style bbq. I go here every chance I get.

Good que, not great but good, I liked the sides. Went in as lunch was ending, and the staff had fixed something for their self's and serve from a big pan at the table the entire staff sat down to eat and the poor little cashier was the only one who had to keep getting up. Old style bbq restaurant.

This restaurant is obviously one of the most pleasant restaurants in the region. Anytime I come there I am remarkably satisfied. They manage their high standard service and the topmost level of food they give. You no doubt will love this restaurant. Very recommended.

Stopped in for lunch today after business in Garland. I had a brisket plate with pinto beans and potato salad. Brisket was decent,flavor was not as good as it could have been, I have had better and have had worse. The sides were average in taste,tea was good. Service was good and the place was fairly busy as it was just after 12 noon. If in the area and hungry for bbq I would stop again.

Great, great food. Never miss it when I'm in Dallas. Nice staff and fresh, perfectly cooked bbq.The fully stuffed baked potato with brisket is fantastic - good luck eating that thing and not taking a nap. Peach cobbler - great; fried okra - great; fresh Brewed tea - great; all the other meats besides brisket - also great.

Great BBQ!! Whenever I travel to Dallas I always look forward to the super stuffed baked potato (baked potato with everything you can think of including meat). They're closed Saturday and Sundays so I always get food to go. Food is terrific and the people so friendly.

Absolutely one of the most delicious brisket sandwiches I have had in a long time, this place is a complete hidden Gem, customer service was great and fast granted it was before rush hour, the restaurant was clean, location not bad especially if you're a local, the food was served hot and very delicious, the prices I feel like for the quantity that you're getting was pretty good $5 for a brisket sandwich full of meat. $1 for a canned beverage $2 for a fountain drink, I will definitely be coming back very soon my goodness the brisket was good.

Great food, and I look forward to being back! Beef brisket was delicious, so was the pulled pork and hot links. I went with my boyfriend so we were able to try a little of each others and were pleasantly surprised by it all! You could tell all the sides were home made - and yummy! The only one I was not a fan of was the macaroni salad, but that could be a palate preference. I will be trying them for Christmas and smoking a brisket for me, I look to giving more stars then. UPDATE: Picked up my brisket and some lunch for the road, and ohmigosh what a difference timing made. Ppreviously I had been in around 2 in the afternoon, this time I was there about 10:30, and I'm blown away by the quality even more of their food. marinated veggies are to-die-for, and potato salad was even better this time around. Of course the meat was delicious and my brisket for Christmas looks fantastic!! So excited I found this place finally!

I really love their loaded baked potato. It doesn't even need bbq sauce. Their meats hold their own!!

Whenever I see a hole-in-the-wall eatery with a loaded parking lot and a large line, I make it a point to give it a try.Boy am I glad I did.I had the beef rib plate lunch special. The ribs were properly smoked, the in-house sauce was great, and they had the best barbecue baked beans I have tasted in a long time.If I find myself in Dallas in the future, I'll have to drop in again.

Pork rib dinner was very tasty. Baked beans were some of the best I have had.

Tried this place as a recommendation from my colleague and I'm so glad I did. The service was quick and the food was hot. I had the brisket sandwich. It was a little dry but the sauce made up for that and I'm normally not a sauce person. Great lunch spot. I'll definitely be back.

I take my family to this great spot from time to time! This is my favorite restaurant to eat. I visit this spot many times. The meals are just great, the workers are welcoming and the prices are fair. I like being in this place to have a nice dinner.
